Our Sacred Earth is seeded with Divine Revelation. Wild Belongings invites us into a deeper experience of this revelation through relationship with the land, the creatures near us.

Beltane, a Celtic festival falling on the eve of May, was marked by a great bonfire celebrating the brightness of the Celtic god Bel. As we welcome the increasing sunlight, we will join in communion with the land and each other through readings, song and ceremony. All are welcome.

This program meets In-Person.
Meet on the land behind the Well. Please see map below.

Weather contingencies:
We will meet outside for the whole program in dry, above freezing weather. If it is below freezing, snowing, or raining, we will meet inside at The Well (enter through the east door), going outside only for the wander.

Facilitators: Bob Kent and Ellen Wiggins, with Pat Eichenold

Ellen Wiggins is a graduate of Seminary of the Wild and an ordained eco-minister. Active in the Wild Church Network, she has led contemplative meditation circles and co-facilitated earth based gatherings through Wild Belongings, celebrating the Celtic Wheel of the Year. She a long-time supporter of The Well.

Bob Kent retired several years ago as an attorney and entered seminary with the goal of becoming a minister. A recent graduate of the Living School at the Center for Action and Contemplation in New Mexico, he loves the Christian mystics and tries to bring a little bit of Richard Rohr to everything he does.

Does Prayer have a cost?

A study we recently conducted revealed that for every hour of program length, we can cover our costs (staff, insurance, rent, marketing, etc.) if a minimum of ten people attend and pay $25, and the facilitator donates their presentation (generally this is staff, a board member, or a CSJ Sister).
While we do not assign a charge to programs that involve prayer, they still have costs, per above. We offer this information as an aid in discerning whether, and how much you will donate for your participation in the One Sacred Community series. Know that we are grateful for your participation, and that your generosity allows us to continue in our mission of unity.

Please give at a level that feels right. To donate, choose increments of $1 in the box marked “Qty” – for example, Qty of 15 = $15.

We're sorry, but all tickets sales have ended because the event is expired.
