The Universe Story

The Well invites people into the unfolding story of creation and humanity’s role within it, grounded in the Sacred Universe Story—a 13.7 billion-year scientific and spiritual narrative told by Thomas Berry and Brian Swimme. This story reveals that all life is interconnected, emerging from the same origin, and shares a sacred relationship with the divine, each other, and the Earth. As the first generation to fully understand this truth, we are called to honor these deep connections and embrace a new way of being—one rooted in reverence, relationship, and participation in an evolving universe. Will you join us in this great turning?
