Much maligned in the past, scholarship has brought us a fully human person, a portrait of a true disciple and a woman not to be ignored. This event will allow us to explore her in the world of her time and the ways she challenged those around her. Come and meet this powerful woman – Mary Magdalene.

Facilitator: Roberta Popara, OP
Roberta Popara, OP – Dominican Sister of Sinsinawa – has been in pastoral ministry, chaplaincy, spiritual direction and retreat work during her religious life. She has an MDiv from CTU, including biblical studies in the Middle East, and a Preaching Certificate from Aquinas Institute.
