Lenten Plastic Fast

March 5 – April 22

Deepen your spiritual connection with the Divine by participating in a Lenten fast from plastic. During this season you will receive email communications on the importance of this practice and how we use it to increase our connection with each other and all of creation. There will also be one or two zoom gatherings to build community and dialogue with each other on how this fast can strengthen both our commitment and relationship with the earth. We will also be learning about what plastic is, and its role in the pollution of our planet, and ways we can advocate for policies that stop the spread of plastic. After Easter, we will have a celebration for all those who participated in this fast on April 22, Earth Day! We hope you will consider adding this to your Lenten practice and spreading the word to others who might have interest in joining us!
