In At the Edge of Time, Fermilab Senior Scientist Dan Hooper explores cosmology’s most elusive time period: the seconds, and fractions of a second, immediately following the Big Bang. Hooper outlines what we know and, perhaps more importantly, what we don’t yet know about this time, elucidating the extraordinary and perplexing questions that physicists are investigating in an effort to unveil the origin and nature of our universe.
Reflecting on science’s successes and failures studying this edge of time, Hooper proposes that we could well be on the brink of a paradigm-shifting revolution in physics, the likes of which hasn’t been seen since 1905.
This program is Hybrid: Participants have the option to meet In-Person at The Well or to join on Zoom. Facilitator is In-Person.
Zoom registrants will receive Zoom sign-in information via email

NOTE: You can buy Dan Hooper’s book At the Edge of Time for $25.00 on the day of the program if you are attending in person. If you are attending on Zoom, we can order a book for you, but we must have your order and payment before the program start date, and you will need to pick up the book at The Well. Cash or check payment (made out to Dan Hooper) is preferred. The proceeds will go directly to Dan.
Facilitator: Dan Hooper
