Why is it that St. Francis is one of the most popular of all the saints?? Part of the reason is that this holy man was totally “relatable” to the people of his day and ours as well. As we enter more fully into this Season of Creation, let’s get in touch with that Franciscan part of ourselves deep within which wants nothing more than to connect with all of creation. Come and listen to Franciscan Father Ed Shea and get caught up in this Franciscan energy. It’s good for the soul!
Co-sponsored with the Siena Center of Dominican University

Facilitator: Fr. Ed Shea, OFM
Franciscan Father Ed has spent most of his priesthood in parish work (St. Giles Family Mass Community in Oak Park, IL, St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Joliet, IL, St. Joseph Parish, a predominantly Hispanic community). He has preached internationally in Mexico, Central America and Tanzania, Africa. Presently, he resides at Franciscan Inner City Mission where he continues to be involved in a lot of bilingual ministry in the Gary/Chicago area and beyond. A Franciscan priest who loves to sing and tell stories, more than anything he thrives on celebrating the sacraments of the Church. A true follower of St. Francis, Father Ed finds reasons to rejoice often in the goodness of God’s presence in our world.
