The Well offers spaces for individual and small group retreats. We also offer opportunities for Reiki and spiritual direction. Overnight stays may be possible depending on availability.

The Well is located near a Cook County Forest Preserve and opportunities to commune with nature abound just a short walk from the center. We are less than one mile away from the Stone Avenue Metra station, and just 30 minutes away from both Midway and O’Hare airports.

Three meals per day can be included in the retreat.

Retreat Policies

All information for groups – number of participants, meals attending, and spaces needed – must be received 3 weeks before the event or retreat. 

For all outside retreats, the non-refundable deposit amount is 25% of the total cost.

Full payment is due one week after the retreat or event start date.

Notice of cancellation received within 2-4 weeks of the start date will receive a refund (minus the deposit).

Refunds will be processed within 3-5 business days from the date of your request.

All groups must sign an “Occupancy Agreement” to complete reservation. Groups must provide emergency contact information for participants. 

No refunds will be issued for cancellations received less than 2 weeks before the start date. You are welcome to change your payment to a tax-deductible gift to The Well.
