Lacemaking Workshop

The Well is excited to partner with the Illinois Lacemakers and Collectors Exchange (LACE) to offer a lacemaking workshop. In the spirit of the Congregation of St. Joseph, come learn how to create a beautiful piece of art, much like the lace that sustained the first Sisters of St. Joseph in Le Puy, France. This workshop includes a history of bobbin lacemaking, a hands-on tutorial, all the necessary supplies, and lunch. To learn more about LACE, see their website.
