As Disciples of Jesus, We Pray for Our Hurting World

Join us in praying Contemporary Stations of the Cross as an expression of our solidarity with the thousands of U.S. Catholics participating in a “Season of Faithful Witness” beginning in Lent till the Feast of Corpus Christi!

These stations are inspired by Pope Leo’s realization that the gravity of this moment calls for a “torrent of moral energy” (Dilexi Te 81), and by Pope Francis’ letter of “Care of Earth” “we are faced not with two separate crises, one environmental and the other social, but rather with one complex crisis which is both social and environmental” (Laudato Si’, 139).

These Stations of the Cross are offered by the Congregation of St. Joseph and the Well Spirituality Center at 1515 W Ogden Ave. LaGrange Park (Alexine Chapel)
